Juan Gutii is a Colombian award-winning guitarist, composer, producer, and recording engineer based in Orlando, Florida. Known for his virtuosic guitar playing, expressive melodic style, and genre-spanning musicianship, he has built an international career as both a performer and producer. He was part of the team behind the GRAMMY®-nominated project HOPE (Orchestrated) and is a Voting Member of the Recording Academy, participating in the GRAMMY Awards voting process alongside fellow music creators. Juan is also a graduate of Full Sail University, earning bachelor's degrees in Music Production and Music Business, where he graduated as Valedictorian.
His latest album, Eternal Salvation, brings together an exceptional international cast, including Joel Hoekstra (Whitesnake, Trans-Siberian Orchestra), Dave Rude (TESLA), Steve Brown (TESLA), Kirk Fletcher, GRAMMY® winner Dan Pugach, Janet Robin, Carlos Valdes, and the Latin GRAMMY®-winning Venezuela String Recording Ensemble. The project was produced alongside Latin GRAMMY® winner Rubén Salas, GRAMMY®-nominated artist Ms. Meka Nism, and an acclaimed international production team, showcasing Juan's vision as both guitarist and producer.
Juan is a two-time First Place winner of the prestigious "So You Think You Can Shred" competition aboard the Monsters of Rock Cruise, where his performances were judged by legendary musicians including Joe Satriani, Nuno Bettencourt (Extreme), Joel Hoekstra, Michael Wilton, George Lynch, and others. He has also earned multiple international awards, including Best Instrumental Song and Best Instrumental Artist at the Premios Gran Latino Plus, Best Music Production at the Premios Gran Latino, and the Best Collaboration Award from Algarii Entertainment. In 2026, he became an InterContinental Music Awards Finalist with two songs from Eternal Salvation: "Bare Knuckle Thunder" (Rock) and "At The Mercy Of The Holy Spirit" (Blues).
As a live performer, Juan has appeared at major venues and events including the Kia Center Arena, Inter&Co Stadium, Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, Harry P. Leu Gardens, Bella Collina, Isleworth Golf & Country Club, Reunion Resort, Timucua Arts Foundation, and The Plaza Live. He has also performed at internationally recognized events such as the Calle Ocho Festival in Miami and the Puerto Rican Day Parade in New York City, each attracting crowds of approximately one million attendees, along with numerous festivals, corporate events, and concert stages throughout the United States.
